Mental Health

Each fortnight all students in the school get to experience our Mental Health Specialist program. Classes run for 45 minutes and have a strong focus on emotional literacy, gratitude, the brain and how we learn, movement, mindfulness and meditation plus so much more. But most importantly the sessions are about having FUN to release the feel good hormones in our bodies so we feel safe and happy at school!

Students will be immersed in Mindfulness and Positive Psychology based practises aimed to lessen anxiety and stress and increase resilience. As well as activities to help students build their emotional resilience so they are better equipped to deal with the day to day stresses that life brings them.
